It has the properties that make it well suited to work in high load and endurance. It has high melting point which is up to 160°F and also high heat resistance. It absorbs less water or wetness which makes it well suited to be used in mechanical or electrical industries. Some of its properties are as it is water resistance so can be used in watery or water less surroundings. It does not allow mud to stick on it or it has resistance from mud.

It is dimensionally stable means remains the same in dimension. It has high resistance power for acids which is even more when compared with nylon. It has high strength which allows it to bear heavy load and make it to be used in mechanical industries. It has many applications some of which will be discussed.
